Alchemy


The Alchemy skill is introduced in the The Sims 3: Supernatural expansion pack. With the Alchemy skill Sims have the ability to create potions called elixirs. Elixirs

Your sim doesn’t have to be a supernatural Sim to learn alchemy, just make sure your Sim is a teenager or older. Sims who have the Alchemy skill can become self-employed as alchemists. Elixirs that your sim can make can help & benefit your sim or affect your sim negatively or harm them.

There are two ways to learn alchemy, you can buy the alchemy station located in build/buy mode under hobbies and skills or you can buy alchemy books from either the bookstore or the local alchemy store.

To start learning the alchemy skill with the alchemy station first buy the The Alchemy Station located in build/buy mode under hobbies & skills. The alchemy station is 3x2 in size and costs 850. After purchasing the alchemy station click on it and select research alchemy to discover new potions.

Note: There are few different types of potions: Permanent or Temporary and ones with Positive Effects or Negative Effects.
